I'm playing around and trying to find new fun stuff to make my blog cooler :o) I've added the "slideshow" feature. If you want to see all those pictures bigger and be able to look at them at your own pace, you can view them in my snapfish group room. Please email me if you need the room code. Once you've entered the room once, you won't need the room code anymore.
Here's my pregnancy update...We’re moving along over here. At my appt last Friday my midwife did the GBS test and checked my cervix. At that point I was 2cm dilated with a short cervix and the boy is low in my pelvis. He was a little tilted so to try and get him in a better position and avoid back labor, I’ve been doing more pelvic rocks and lots of hanging out on my hands and knees and sometimes chest and knees. The chest and knees is nice because it brings him up and out of my pelvis a bit which relieves the pressure on my bladder some (at least until I sit up) LOL ;o) My next appt is tomorrow. I’m hoping for good news about the GBS test and see if there’s any more progression. However she may not do a cervical check since that’s more of a typical OB’s office thing and not so much a midwife/birth center thing. Oh yeah, almost forgot….he’s been measuring perfectly the whole PG until last week…..instead of measuring at 36 weeks like he should have, he measured 37 weeks. We’ll see what tomorrow brings…..
I do have contractions consistently every day now. I still get Braxton hicks mostly but throughout the day I’ll also get the painful, cramping contractions that could be changing my cervix. They come almost like clockwork in the middle of the night. However, they are all still very irregular in general and never stay longer then 1-2 hours at a time.

Pre-term labor??......Nope, all good :o)
Last week we had a bit of a scare. I thought I might have been in pre-term labor. I was having quite a few contractions and thought my water might have been leaking. I called my midwives who had me come into the birth center to get checked out. Naturally, by the time I got there, I was certain I was wasting everyones' time. As bad as I felt for that, I was really hoping I was indeed doing just that. I had all the usual tests which showed all was still well in preggo land and I could rest easy. YAY!!! I was even told I could water ski all I wanted! WOOHOO!! Don't freak out......I explained what a boom was and that I was only going to do that. I won't be throwing any 180's on the wake board this summer. ;o) LOL
Marc did a photo shoot with Gwendolyn and I. I'm 31 weeks PG and Gwendolyn is 27 months in these photos.
